You can still register for conference, but you must do so on site. Please go to the conference venue (Halifax Marriott Harbourfront) and register at the conference registration area on the second floor.

  • You do not work in the area of speech-language pathology;
  • You are a PhD student (you must submit this registration form with proof of enrolment in a PhD program);

Calling Student Volunteers

We are seeking a small team of volunteers to help us in Halifax, Nova Scotia from April 26 – 30, 2016. As a thank-you for their contributions, all volunteers will receive a $50 refund on their conference registration.

To become a conference volunteer, simply register for conference and complete this application form. Send your completed form to SAC by March 30, 2016 via:

 

10% Group Discount for Groups of Five or More

Bring a friend! Even better – bring four! If you and four or more of your colleagues attend our conference, we will give you a 10% discount off the total cost of registration. To qualify for the discount, all individuals must be from the same organization and you must submit all registrations at the same time (using the hard copy form; not online registration), together with your payment. Students are not eligible for this discount. Email Michelle Jackson for details.

 

More Details

  • ASHA members who join SAC when they register for the conference will receive a 25% discount on their SAC membership fee.
  • Communication health assistant: To be eligible for the communication health assistant non-associate registration rate, please provide proof of completion of an educational program for communication health assistants in speech-language pathology and/or audiology (e.g. copy of transcripts or diploma) or a letter from your employer confirming that you work as a communication health assistant. Please contact Michelle Jackson if you have any questions.
  • Student registration fees are for students enrolled in full-time audiology, speech-language pathology, communication health assistant or related programs (must provide proof of enrolment).
  • For PhD Students who are not a SAC student associate you may be eligible to receive the student conference rate. To apply, please complete the registration form in hard copy (online registration not eligible) and submit it with proof of enrolment in a PhD program.
  • No credit will be given for unused event tickets received as part of your registration.
  • Credit card charges will be posted to your account by SAC in Canadian dollars.
